Photography
Do you want to make a difference using your photography skills as you help local organization? If yes, then our Photography placement will work well for you. Most organizations in developing countries are in need of photographers. Photos can be used on an organization’s website, social media, or sent to donors to make a bigger impact in Africa. As a photographer, you will use your skills to capture an organization’s story and events and help them share with world creating awareness of what they doing. As a volunteer, you can also train young people who are passionate about photography, but they can’t afford school fees.
This will help them expose their talents and potential. As a photographer, you will have opportunity to volunteer with conservation projects, schools, children homes generally all our programs that need photographers to help them in taking pictures.
Volunteers will take part in the following:
- Attending Non-profit organizations to take pictures for the charity
- Training young people on basic photography skills
- Taking pictures of everyday life in Africa to share with organizations
(The program is located in Nairobi, Nakuru and in the Maasai.)
Requirements:
- Have some experience in photography.
- Be patient and attentive to details given.
- Ability to work independently and with the group as well.
- Have your own camera and photography equipment.
- Optional: Advanced skills in editing.
