If you would like to share your creative talent and skills on a volunteer programme   abroad then you are in the right place!

In the slums of Kenya, especially in Nairobi city, life comes with many challenges. However, there is still a lot to offer from those who reside in the slums of Kenya. Many people who live in Kibera aspire to have jobs in the arts, specifically dance.

Dance provides a creative outlet that helps to develop many skills. Not many people from Kenya have been able to travel and get scholarships to advance their talent. However, dance also helps to avoid challenges in the slums such as child/teen pregnancy and drug abuse.

As a volunteer, you need to have an open mind, a can-do attitude and be ready to work with what is available. In this programme, volunteers will have a chance to learn Kenyan dances as well as share your own dance skills too.

Volunteers will take part in the following

• Coaching dance sessions for children and adults
• Enjoy learning traditional Kenyan dances
